On 29th September the Art department took 90 year 10 students to The Cotswold Wildlife Park in Burford, Oxfordshire. We were hoping for dry weather and got one of the hottest days of the year! Students were taken round the extensive grounds looking at birds, animals, reptiles and different types of plants in the walled garden. Students collected sketches and photographs which could be developed back in the classroom. The park staff also organised for the photography students to take photos of the reptiles’ close-up. All of the work completed will form a big component of their observational work for their first coursework unit on Natural Form. The work is now being developed back in the classroom. |
