What do I need to know or be able to do before taking the course? This qualification is available to anyone who is capable of reaching the required standards. Staff will ensure that candidates are entered at the level that best suits their capabilities. You will need a willingness to commit to a series of written portfolios.

Students will study
Three Units to gain the L2 Award
(Equivalent to 2 GCSE A*-C)
Six units to gain the L2 Certificate
(Equivalent to 4 GCSE A*-C).

The six units studied are called:
Investigating in business
Enterprise and operations
Finance in business
Communication in Business
Promotion in business
Keeping customers happy

Assessment |

Students will complete a portfolio of work for each of the six units. These will be graded from fail to distinction, with the final grade based upon the overall average.

Career Opportunities This qualification can help you to go on to higher level qualifications (AS and A2) or employment in a junior
position in business.
