ADVANCED LEVEL

What do I need to know or be able to do before taking the course?
You must have a keen interest in photography and be willing to work in a variety of areas, e.g. portraiture; documentary; photo journalism; landscape; still life and experimental imagery. An enthusiasm for the subject is a must.

Structure

|
You will learn both traditional and digital techniques related to the developing and printing of photographic images and the technical skills used for taking good photographs -such as; camera skills, lenses, lighting and organisation. You will also learn the vocabulary and specialist terminology which is relevant to your chosen subject. At the end of the course you will understand how to respond to a theme, issue, concept or idea in your own way. During the course you will explore elements of visual language, line, form, colour, pattern and texture in the context of photography
