Training School
Training School status is in recognition of the outstanding work we do in helping to develop our staff, including those starting out on their careers and in training people hoping to join the profession.
Our main foci are to:
- Provide high quality opportunities for the professional development of all staff at Highdown.
- Ensure the impact of staff development is shown in the classroom
- Collaborate with Reading Local Authority to help provide training opportunities for all its schools
- Collaborate with Higher Education Institutions to further develop Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
